You and Your Partner's Cleaning Style

Living with my new boyfriend, he gets disappointed if I don't clean up after him. Usually how me and my ex did it, I would clean my stuff and he would clean his, it was only fair because he was messier than me. My current bf is not as messy as my last but I am just use to only cleaning after myself. So just wondering how you and your partners cleaning style is and what works best? I don't have a problem cleaning up after him sometimes but I am just not use to it and he really expects it from me, even some jobs that I view a man should do such as taking out the trash.
