Signs of preeclampsia

I've found in the second half of my pregnancy I've been having really swollen feet, it could be because it's so hot, the swelling goes down once I rest my feet, but I find myself also seeing black and white spots floating around sometimes. But my doctor told me I don't have any protein in my urine. Could these be signs of preeclampsia?
