breastfeeding without pumping?

Hello mommas!!  I'm EBFing my 17 day old baby.  I feel like all other BFing mommas are also pumping too.  Should I be doing that too?  My sister BFed and pumped but got so burnt out doing it every hour that she quit after two months.  I like the schedule that I'm on.  Feeding every two hours and 3 hrs at night.  I'm afraid if I feed one hour and pump the next hour I will get completely burnt out.  What are your thoughts?  Thank you!
