pain and confusion

So I just got done shaving my vagina and whenever I pee it burns like really bad on the inside of my vagina lips like on those things that kind of hang down( sorry I don't know the exact name of them) and it burns there whenever I pee and it looks a little irritated and I'm thinking it's from the soap I've been using on it becahee it has done this a little bit before when I used the soap but not like this so is this normal for it to get irritated after shaving and using certain soaps?
