Depo shot

So for the first time today I let my bf finish in me. I have been on depo for over a month now. I am scared a bit but that's why I got on the shot to be able to do this without any worries but who doesn't worry ya know. There's still that 1% chance. My bf did tell me that he doesn't want to do it all the time he thinks it will be unsafe. But please share some good stories so I can calm down lol and let me know if I should be okay?
