HCG with consistent 1.5 day doubling time - Twins??

Question

What do you ladies think? Twins run in my husband's family (though I think the females carry that gene)...

My numbers continue to rise very quickly. I don't think they are exceptionally high, but the doubling time has been 1-1.5 days each time! At 5 weeks 4 days (yesterday) I had a level of 7925!

Fun to imagine...thoughts? Experiences?

Hmmmmm at 5wks 1day I was 17,730.....😳 could that be twins??? I'm not showing at all..... I should be 6wks 2 days today. Ultrasound on Thursday..... so nervous 😓

My numbers in the beginning of my pregnancy all doubled in about 30-33 hrs. Your numbers are consistent with normal Hcg numbers and the range is so huge, they tell you nothing about how many embryos are in there. Wait for your sono and don't over analyze numbers. My numbers were over 48,000 when I had my blood drawn at 6w 4d but I also had a sono and there's only one in there. 😊

At 5w2d my number was 7400. I had an ultrasound that same day and there was only one sac. My numbers are also doubling every 36 hours or so.

Mine was 6000 at 5 weeks exactly -and I only have one, you never know though!

I'm 6w1d pregnant with twins and at 3.5 weeks (I did IVF so I got my levels checked early) my hcg was 925 then 2 days later it was 2,500 and 3 days later it was 6,500.

I also did IVF but I haven't had an ultrasound yet so not sure if it's one or two. But I've been doing a lot of research to see if my numbers indicate one or the other and everything I've read says beta numbers can not tell you how many babies. I've seen really high numbers with just one baby. So I guess I just have to wait another week.
