misoprostol induction???

Question

Has anyone ever had misoprostol when getting induced? This is my second child but my first induction. I have never even heard of it and I have found awful things on the internet but also good things. So I would like some personal stories if anyone out there would like to share :) I go in tomorrow night!!

I had an induction with miso 3 weeks ago. I went in not dilated at all. It took 24 hours and 5 doses of miso to dilate me to 4 cm. I didn't have pain except some mild cramping. Then I was given pitocin. I ended up having a c section, because after 4 hours of pushing there was no progress. I also had a sunny side up baby amd she couldn't turn on her own. Worst pain imaginable. But my baby girl is healthy, and that's all I care about.

I have had the strongest dose for a missed miscarriage which I bled severely with. However it's a much stronger dose than pregnancy due to baby already died so they don't need to worry about baby. I'm sure though they use it in the uk for induction. I was induced with my first with the pessarys for 2 days. My cervix are rubbish and don't dilate hardly. However I had no bleeding just really bad back ache like early labour. I was eventually started on the drip once I dilated a tiny bit enough to break my waters. I still didn't get past 2cm though but as I say that's my rubbish cervix
