for woman who are already mommies

I have a question for all you mommies. we have our daughters set for her bedroom. Her crib and her dresser. I have her dresser decorated sooo pretty and want to keep it that way lol. My question is do you think I will regret not buying the piece that goes on top of the dresser that converts it into a changing table? Do you actually use it often? Or do you change baby in the living room on the couch where you spend a lot of your time. I have a changing pad and stuff that I figured I would use on the floor because I really am a OCD freak and wanted to decorate her dresser. Just seeing everyone's inputs if they really used it that much or not.
