UTI or infection

Im wondering if anyone who has had a UTI or vaginal infection can answer this question for me, the past couple days iv noticed when i pee it has a really strong smell kinda fishy my actual vagina doesn't smell just my urine but I have been feeling a little sore down there iv been googling it and it says it could be bacterial vaginosis but i havent had any unusual discharge any ideas would be appreciated
