Insertion, Yay!

Hi everyone! So I had my IUD put in this morning and I just wanted to give the ladies who are thinking about getting an IUD another insertion experience to consider. I know we all have seen the horror stories but mine wasn't that bad. I had a pregnancy test and had my blood checked. Then, I had a bimanual exam and my cervix was cleaned off, numbed, and clamped.  The worst part for me was the sounding. Worst cramp of my life, like it was a 9.5 out of 10. The actual insertion of the device was about a 2. The whole process took maybe 7 minutes. It wasn't as bad as I thought, I walked out fine and have only had one major cramp since but I'm still kind of crampy. So, hopefully this helped someone, I know women have some crazy experiences. 😄
