double minority problems and privilege

It's so crazy to me that many of those who are in positions of privilege choose to ignore the realities of their privilege and the challenges that other people without that privilege face. Being a woman of color not only means facing racism but also sexism. There are stereotypes about women and people of color that we have to face, but not many people think about that.
