Love my doctor but my ultrasounds always look so hazy compared to others I've seen on here. Wondering if maybe they're equipment is older? This is my first abdominal ultrasound during 10 week visit earlier this week. Baby looks cute but so blurry

It's because it's abdominal. Most doctors don't do that till after you 12th week. Baby is tune still

My looked like this at 11 4... Obviously not exactly the same but it made me so upset

At my docs they won't do an abdominal until 14 weeks because of haze.

The transvaginal one was more clear that I had a few weeks ago. This one very hazy :( doctor and staff are great though. They need better equipment lol but even the doctor said my scan at 20 wks will be much better

The machine really makes a difference! My private OBGyn has an amazing one, so clear and perfect whereas the regular one is super hazy

I would definitely ask for a better picture. For my last u/s he gave a crappy picture and i told him i didnt want that, to please get a clearer picture because I couldn't really tell where the baby was.

That would drive me nuts! I'm guessing it's just the equipment. Don't worry, they'll be using a better machine for your 20 week!
