Geritol side effects

I'm on my second bottle of geritol(liquid) and I stopped taking it yesterday. My period used to be approx 4 days maximum. I'm on day 7 of period today. Geritol has extended my period and made my flow very heavy for 3 days.  I will just stick to my prenatal vitamins and iron pills as I can't continue to have these long periods. OMG. I'm so disappointed as I was really liking the way it made me felt but not the side effects. 😨😨
