Sept 21st I decided to take 2 1/2 table spoon on castor oil to help induce my labour ...of course I was full term and started to dilate..8 15 I took the castor oil 15 mins later I started having contractions...1 hour later I was rushing to the bathroom....that went on until 12 30 Sept 22nd ....my contractions started getting closer and strong ...luckily I was at my mother in laws house since my SO is out of town. I decided that I wanted to labour at home for as long as I can so my mother in law took care of me by putting hot towels on my belly and back and running a hot bath for me ....while sitting in the tub I lost my mucus plug ....contractions still coming on stronger and stronger ...MIL called the hospital to let them know am in labour and ask around what time I should head to the hospital...they asked us to stay at home until my contractions were too painful to talk ...I started vomiting so she called back they told her to bring me in...I got to the hospital some mins past 4 in the morning they check and I was 5 cm dilated and was admitted ...I wanted a natural birth free of pain meds so I was given a doctor that was train in helping such patients....I laboured in the tub at the hospital which was a great help with the pain ...an even bigger help was having my MIL there while my SO was on his way to witness the birth of his first child ....she was such a blessing to have around ...by 9 45 I was 9 cm dilated ...I couldn't be more happy cause it won't be that long before I get to see her ...10 48am Sept 22nd my beautiful baby girl Doniella Abigale was born ...I had tears of joy when I first layed eyes on her ...it was such a happy moment for her dad and I she is such a blessing
