Still swaddling?

Question

Is anyone still swaddling their LO to help them sleep? If not, when and how did you transition away from being swaddled? Anytime my LO wiggles one of his arms or even hands out the top he wakes up and won't go back to sleep. Can't imagine how we are going to get him to sleep with out being swaddled!

We transitioned at 3.5 months to the zipadeezip :) with no issues. She now sleeps 12 hours at night with one wake up at 5 months.

We went from swaddle to the Halo sleep sack. It's loose on her but I think it still feels as if something is wrapped around her and she has slept through the night every single night since 2 months old. She is 5 months now, and we didn't get the 4 month sleep regression phase (yet) so I'm hoping it doesn't happen. Love the sleep sack!

It was hard, because she got used to needing to be swaddled to fall asleep. We started with naps. And a couple days after being so tired from not napping well during the day, she eventually slept 6 hours straight at night with no swaddle! Again I say, it was hard for like a week, but totally worth it. Now she can fall asleep anywhere. 😊

I recently just started putting her down without the swaddle a 3 weeks ago. She was starting to strain against the swaddle and managing to sneak a hand/arm out. She would then fuss and wake herself up like you had mentioned your LO seems to be doing. One night I just decided to try her with out it but still swaddled her mid section for comfort. She woke up a couple of times but was easy to put back to sleep (I just had to pop the binky in her mouth and she was good). She's gotten much better and will only wake once a night if that and is easily put back to bed. I no longer swaddle her mid section. She wears footie pajamas with a sleep sac that leaves her arms free. I will say though she still sleeps with us in our room in the rock-n-play. 😁😬! Transition to her crib is on the agenda next week when I have a full week off of work! Baby steps!! I hope that helps a little bit!
