down stairs

I have noticed that my vagina has been/ is quite itchy, I've had a look and I have a white substance between my vagina lips, it's not sticky or wet but it's dry. Just wondering if it's some kind of infection? Or if anyone knows what it is?!? It's not like I don't clean myself or that I'm dirty or anything.
