Moving In

Okay, so, I am going to be leaving for college in August and my bf of almost 2 years is moving this coming January. We will be 2 hours apart within those 8 months, but my college is only 13 minutes away from his University. We were talking about me moving in with him when I go. I obviously really want to, but then again, I have always lived at home and have never lived by myself. Do you think it would be okay to move in with him or should I go alone? Moving with him will help money wise, too, though.
