Some advice

Hello everyone,

I'm really good friends with a guy in the same program as me. We starting hooking up and are still good friends. Asked him if he wanted more and he said he wasn't trying to start anything because the program ends in a year. He's leaving but I'm staying in the area. It sounds like an excuse but that doesn't keep him from spending all of his free time with me. He even talks about staying in the area or visiting after a few months (it makes no sense because our school is in the middle of nowhere, there's no reason to come back)

Should I guard my heart and move on? Should I just go with the flow even if I want more because he makes me genuinely happy? Let know if you need more info.
