What do you guys take for persistent heartburn?

I have had heart burn every day for this entire week except yesterday. Yesterday was heartburn free and it was fabulous. But today,  I woke up with it. Didn't even have to drink or eat and I woke up with it 😬 what do you guys take/do to help relieve it?

I had tried tums with very little success. My ob cousin recommended Zantac over the counter. I take it in evening with my dinner. Its worked miracles! Makes sleeping sooo much easier!!

I have had so many tums I can't stand them anymore. I take Zantac every 12 hours to keep it away. If it starts creeping up then I drink a huge glass of milk! Mine has been awful for a couple of months and this really works for me!

I've been taking pantaloc 40 mg. I had acid reflux before I was pregnant and it has been studied during pregnancy and is completely safe to take throughout it.

Pepcid in pill form. Life saver!

Gaviscon or glass of milk. I had to have some milk in the middle of the night as felt so uncomfortable. Find out what makes it worse, for me anything with tomatoes in make it a lot worse and too much orange juice later on in the day.

I have horrible heartburn, ingestion and acid reflux. Doc told me Zantac 2x a day, once in morning and once at night. It really works. Tums will just make it better for a minute and come back.
