Husband dreaming about ex

My husband just told me he has been dreaming about both his exes everyday for the past 2 weeks. One ex of 8 years ago and one of 2 years ago. Not really sure what to feel about it. He said they only talk, he said it might symbolize something, but what could it be? Pretty confused.
