Advice please!

I have had light brown discharge since Thursday. By light, I mean just a spot here and there. My period is due to come tomorrow. I have never had brown discharge before, only after. I have also had some light cramps, nothing like usual. I took a pregnancy test Friday, it was negative. So,  Has anyone experienced this and ended up being pregnant?
