I think my baby just wants my boob and not milk

So today I made the decision to pump and bottle feed my baby for the next couple days until I can see the lactation consultant again (it's become excruciatingly painful even tho we are 7 weeks in) before I was feeding on demand, pretty much when ever she gave hunger cues - sucking her hand, rooting or crying. Well today I started her off in the morning on the boob then 2 hours later I have her 3.5oz thinking this would last her 3 hours- nope an hour and a half later she wanted more so I have her another 3.5oz thinking maybe she needed an ounce or two top off - nope she ate it all- 2 hours later and she had another 3.5 oz and still isn't satisfied she isn't crying or starving or anything but still searching for the boob! When I pump I barely get 3.5oz and I'm pretty sure she doesn't take 3.5oz each feeding! Is she just looking for boob?
