First appointment today, and I'm a big baby having a baby.
All last week and this weekend I kept thinking it was on Tuesday, but then a notification popped up on my phone calendar that it's today. I'm HORRIFIED of needles, and I don't think I will ever get over that fear. They all said I would get over my fear with all the labs and testing that they need to do in pregnancy, but I definitely was not over the fear after I had my daughter. This is my second baby.
A blood draw and a pelvic exam today :( Wish me luck! It would be so much easier for me to go if they did an ultrasound or something so I could see my baby, but they don't until 20 weeks unless medically necessary. Are there any other needle-phobics out there, or just me?
