question about home Doppler

My friend bought me a home Doppler, the sonoline B series. She bought it for me because I miscarried my first baby and was super worried/ paranoid this time around. I have been using it everyday to check the babies heartbeat. I do know what I'm looking for because I have watched several YouTube videos and I have found my own heartbeat and I can tell the difference. I guess my question is is using it everyday too much? Recently I heard it can be dangerous to the baby to use it so often... not sure how. But I also read on a few forums that other ladies have been told it's fine to use whenever. I'm wondering if any of you ladies have heard anything either way?
