Gender of baby?

Question

Around what weeks do you get to see baby's gender on ultrasound. And can you find out through blood test any sooner? If yes then around what weeks and is it safe and accurate. This is my baby #2 and I'm just way too excited. I'm barely 9w 5d

I found out via ultrasound at 16 weeks with my daughter. There is a blood test, but it's soooooo expensive unless you're over 35 (for my insurance anyway). I think it tests for genetic disorders, but can also tell you the gender. This is my second pregnancy too! Also our last since we want 2 kids. It's killing me to know if it's a boy or girl!
