a gush of blood 5 days after delivery

My bleeding was gradually decreasing after delivery. But this morning while lying down n nursing my baby, i felt like i had my period, and when i stood up, a gush of blood run through my pants and when i looked at it, there was several lumps of blood. Is that normal?
