thrush and breastfeeding? Help!

My LO is 3 weeks old and has thrush. I'm trying to stay strong and keep breastfeeding but my nipples are so painful. Any suggestions on natural ways to get rid of thrush/yeast on nipples/breast?

Gentian Violet! Should be able to purchase at most pharmacies. Ask the pharmacist.

I second the gentian violet!!! My LO got antibiotics and I used gentian violet with nystatin cream.  Both available at your pharmacy.  Only thing that cleared up my incredibly stubborn thrush

Nope. You need antibiotics and to sterilize anything that goes in the baby's mouth. (Pacifiers toys bottles etc )
