Like literally .. HOW LONGGGG ??? 😩

My daughter wants to nurse foreverrrrr seems like .. She will nurse an hour or two if I let her and still acts as if she's hungry afterwards .. I offer her a paci afterwards but and hr and a half later, she's hungry AGAIN!!!! Am I not producing enough or what ??? It's so frustrating 😞

Maybe I'm just a mean mom.... cause my opinion on this is completely different. To me it sounds like your little one is nursing because he doesn't know what else to do. My little one did the same. It's like breast feeding is the only way they currently know how to cope or anything. So you got to teach them, boobies are for food. You have to teach them they can snuggle or use a pacifier when tired or bored. 
What I did to break this habit is set a timer for 15 minutes, and feed them for that long on one boob. Then burp them, then set timer for 15 minutes again for second boob. Then be done. You might have to do extra snuggles to break the habit. But a total of 30 minutes is long enough for a baby to eat. He will learn to eat faster also. My little one now is at 8 min on each side  :) don't give up you got this!!!!

Completely normal momma. It does get better. Breastfeeding in the first few weeks, especially in the beginning is hard. Baby spent 9 long months inside a nice warm cuddled area. It's scary being out in a world they don't know anything about. Not only do they nurse for hunger, but to also help sooth them. Long nursing sessions whether they be nursing, or soothing, is really going to help build up your milk supply. That stimulation is signaling your body to create milk. It's exhausting and at times can be frustrating, but so it's so so sooo worth it. As baby gets older, she won't nurse as long. But it might be helpful to read some articles on Kellymom.com as well as looking up the fourth trimester. Goodluck momma!

They do that when they're little. They have tiny little tummies - the size of a marble at birth and then they slowly expand - so they have to eat often and slowly. Soon your child will have a larger stomach.

They need to eat often because their stomachs are little but they're also building up your milk supply. Cluster feeding is normal! Feeding for crazy long periods is normal! You are totally satisfying those little guys otherwise they'd let you know! Obviously your dr will let you know if there is a real weight/gaining issue.

You are constantly producing milk and they just wanna be attached to momma :)

The first few weeks that's normal my 3 month old only nurses for 20 min now. Bf can be frustrating just try to stay positive find a good support group to. Where I live our hospital has a bf support group two times a month and it's wonderful!

My daughter is a week old tomorrow and I was having the same issues. Her dr told me I could supplement formula or I could pump and feed her that way. Pumping also helps to see how much she is actually eating.
