Itching from Metformin

Hi ladies, my RE prescribed glucophage and postoval (metformin 500mg x 2 daily) I have noticed an uncontrollable itch in my legs and calves since starting metformin on Friday. Am I the only one or is it a normal reaction (like the upset tummy and the nausea)
