keeping up?

My LO is 21 weeks old and drinks three 6 oz breast milk bottles a day at daycare. I've started having a hard time keeping up! I pump every three hours at work and try to drink tons of water! I ordered some lactation cookies but is there anything else I can do! I'm trying not to go to formula.

Eat oatmeal for breakfast everyday. Saved me. My kid drinks 45 ox breastmilk daily. And food. 😳. Hrs 3rd percentile weight do hes not overeating either!

I would try a day off bottle feedings at home if you haven't already to make sure the amount and frequency is right. I know it's not uncommon that caretakers sometimes overfeed. It could be that he's not actually hungry for the full 6 oz bottle but is finishing it because it's offered. I'm away from my daughter for 9 hours and she takes 12 oz between 4 bottles. I found that if we did 3 bottles of 4 oz she seemed hungrier/fussier because she was going longer between them. If he's truly taking 18 oz I would try power pumping every night for a week or so to help increase supply. I also had some success with fenugreek but unless I really try to build supply I don't usually get more than the 12 oz between 4 pumping sessions.
