Am I a young mum?

What do you consider a young mum?
I'll be 21 when I give birth, am I still a young mum?

I was 19! Still breastfeed for a year plus and cloth diapered my little man... everyone has their own maturity level at different ages...

Your young but not too young if that makes sense? Where im from originally woman give birth between 20-30 after that is considered old. I disagree about it being "old" but 20 isnt young its a normal age as long as you can financially support youe child and have a support system. Some youg 20 year olds eont...but then again some 40 year olds dont either. I was married when we started ttc. I got pregnant when i was 21 and had my furst when i was 22. I finished university when i was 8 months pregnant. My husband was in the middle of his phd ( he was also a lecturer at the university). No one ever mwntioned i was young with a negative connotation just more a fact that i am a younger mom.

I had my first at 17.. And my second will be here and I'll be 20. I feel like being an adult hits around 19/20 still a young age but sounds like the right time to start having kids although there's nothing wrong with starting later on in 30s or 40s. Everyone's life is different!

I'm thinking the answers probably friend somewhat on geography. I'm 32 and pregnant with my first which is pretty average for my area. I think of a young mom as probably 24 or younger, but where my cousin is from, 24 is more the norm and I'd be considered an old mom, lol.

I say you are a young mom but that doesn't mean u r an unprepared mom or can't be a great mom. I had my first at 19 & I was a lot better mom than some of my younger & older friends.

I'm 17 & will be 18 in December, I'm really young but I have everything covered. I honestly don't see why people have a problem with "age" if you're not taking care of my baby or bills then why should it matter? Lol you ladies have a blessed pregnancy! 💖💙

I will also be 21 when my baby is here.. but I feel so insecure about being so "young" and pregnant. I am married but my IN LAWS keeps throwing stuff in my face like "you are 21 and pregnant 😂😂😂" and telling me constantly that I am still a child wanting to raise a child and that I won't be able to take good care of that "thing" ..
