induced due to lack of movement?

I was wondering if anyone else had been induced due to lack of movement? I went to the hospital last night as I felt like I hadn't felt baby move all day. I explained I had a busy day and am very stressed at the moment and crying a lot so may have just not noticed.

They hooked me to the machines and everything seemed fine, but then he said he wants to book me a scan and maybe induce me? But I don't understand if the baby seemed ok on the monitor. I'm guessing this is standard procedure just wondered if anyone else has experienced this? As heartbeat etc was all ok. This is my third time with reduced fetal movement last time being 10 weeks ago

I had lots of episodes of reduced movement every time I went in she was fine and so was all the scans - in the end I was induced last week at 38 weeks ! Baby is here now an the most chilled out thing ever !! My doctor told me although everything looked fine they couldn't 100% tell me she was ok so I was to be induced x

I've been 3 times for reduced movements, and sent for a few scans. It's to check the placenta and cord have enough blood flow and there's not knots or kinks, baby is growing, and how much fluid is still there. All perfectly normal. They're just looking after you well 😊 I'm now 38+2 and although all scans came back perfectly fine I'm having a membrane sweep tomorrow. If baby is full term they like to air on the side of caution and get them out a little sooner x

I went to er Monday evening for reduced movement, they did a nst and as everything looked ok they just sent me home. I hope they didn't under estimate the problem, no ultrasound for me but just the heart beat monitoring. To be honest she was really active during the time they monitored me so I guess they consider it fine

I'm going in to the day unit this afternoon to be monitored as I've also reported reduced movements. I'm 37 weeks and this is my second time too so I was wondering the same as last time I was in someone was being induced for that reason! When are you having your scan? Good luck!

My baby used to be so active! But in the past week and a half, she's really slowed her movements down. Sometimes she won't even respond if I nudge her, lay on my side, have chocolate, lol the usual tricks. They have me going in for NST twice a week so I'm trying not to get too worried. At what point do you decide to go in for reduced movement? Sometimes I can't get the 10 kicks in an hour period...or most of the day.
