Miscarriage after 12 weeks?

Question

Has anyone ever had a miscarriage after 12 weeks or know someone that has? And Why did it happen? Was baby moving and good heartbeat?
I had a miscarriage in March of this year at 11 weeks and I have been a friggen wreck this whole pregnancy, I am currently 13 weeks and only feeling super crampy. We saw baby last week she was kicking around and heartbeat was 150. Maybe just looking for support or reassurance that my baby is going to make it this time since I have gotten to 13 weeks...Dr said she was big for her age an I'm hoping that means she's healthy but I can't help but to worry everyday. I desperately want to enjoy this pregnancy.

I still get nervous about a late loss and I am 15 weeks 2 days. Heartbeat scan at Dr on Monday showed a very strong heartbeat at 148 BPM. Just the fact that I am feeling so much better scares me haha like I would rather feel sick and miserable and know baby is ok then feel good and be unsure

I lost a little boy in Feb. I was 20 weeks and was going in for our anatomy scan when we couldn't find a heartbeat. After delivery our dr determined he had passed away at 18 weeks. I was also not given a reason for death after genetic and placenta testing. I did not go into labor on my own. I'm now 14 weeks pregnant with twins and a NERVOUS WRECK! I totally relate! Every time I'm back at my DR office my blood pressure is sky high!

I was 11 weeks when I miscarried too and was devastated. But I didn't give up hope. As soon as the doctor gave me the green light, my fiancé and I tried again. Took us a little while but finally got pregnant again. I'm now 14 weeks as of today and just like you every slight cramp freaks me out and I start to worry "oh no am I miscarrying again?" I made myself stop this madness because it was driving me crazy. Now I simply enjoy the present and the present is that my baby boy is alive and well and he is already so loved by his mommy and daddy. I talk to my baby often. I find it helps and distracts me from worrying about another miscarriage.

I had a miscarriage in May at 8w2d. I'm currently 12w6d and had ultrasound Tuesday. Baby was moving all over the place. Very active heartbeat was 156bpm... Feeling relieved but still worry just not as much.

It's less likely after 12 weeks but it can basically happen at any point. Try not to worry about it and enjoy your pregnancy as stress isn't good for the baby and if there is a miscarriage there was a reason and not much you can do about it!

My sister in law had one at 13 weeks and just this week had another at 16 weeks. Not sure why, but it's really sad.

I have a friend who had a miscarriage a few years ago at 13 weeks. I don’t know/remember the details, just that she was 13 weeks.

I get a lot of cramps from gas and constipation, so that might be a possibility.
