Baby Showers

My cousin wants to have another baby shower, this is her 5th child. A lot of my family members are outraged as the rest of us (myself included) couldn't care less what she does. I just wanted opinions on multiple showers. I personally think you should have one with your first pregnancy, but if your second is the same sex you shouldn't have another shower. If you're having a different sex then I think you should have another shower. But at the same time, why NOT have one with each pregnancy? It's a celebration of a baby!! And it helps soooo much with clothes and diapers and stuff!
