oh god please tell me if this is normal?

Me and my bf have been together for a year now and we live with his mom we're in our early 20s and saving up for a apartment. And he recently lost his job due to a bad back injury. And can't work for a few months. We have been bickering a lot lately. Not crazy a lot just more then usual. Is it because he's upset with work? Which he's a hard working man and loves working. And we don't have much space to get out of each other's faces. Hmmm.
