bleeding and not sure if it's my period

Hi everyone. On sept 3 I was induced and gave birth to my son at 21 weeks because he had potters syndrome where he did not have any working kidneys or amniotic fluid. They did a d and c after to get everything out. I bled for about 3 weeks. Not very heavy after the first week. For the past week and a half maybe I did not have any bleeding at all. Today I have somewhat heavy bleeding. No cramps. No period symptoms. Could this be my period???? I know the dr said i prob wouldn't get my period for 6 weeks after birth. So it's a little before that. I'm worried maybe this means there is some kind of issue like retained tissue or infection? I am not in any pain at all. Tia
