birth control post baby- bad reactions?

I was starting to feel really good and like the baby blues were really gone for good at about 8 weeks. Baby and I have had struggles w food intolerance,nursing, pumping, everything but I finally felt good! Started my new birth control that's supposed to be okay/not reduce my supply and WHAM I'm sobbing again, feel like I want to run away from my life.... Is it the birth control? I quit taking it to see if these feelings go away...
