Does anyone have any experience with being induced?

I started having high blood pressure around the beginning of my third trimester so my doctor had me start taking low dose aspirin which did kind of help for awhile and now I'm 37 weeks and the last 2 visits it started going up again. He talked to me yesterday about possibly having to be induced at 39 weeks because of my high blood pressure and the measurements they been getting from the baby are kinda big. I've told him I want to try to avoid anything like that if possible which he's going to try and work with me and see if we can do anything else first but they will check my cervix next week and see.. I really wanted to do this without any induction or epidural but I know if it's good for my baby I will do so but also getting induced could raise the likelihood of having to get a C section and I really don't want that. My husband's aunt said she got induced and it caused her to have to get 3 c sections that she did not want.

Basically I just want to see if anyone else has had a pretty bad experience with this or if it's worked fine with being induced?
