What did they do at your 35 week appointment ??

My doctor said they were going to do something I forgot the name but I think check my cervix?

Who had this at 35-36 weeks?

Is it to check for dilation or what??

Measure belly, listen to heart beat, swab for strep B and that's it. Told me they would start cervical checks at 37 weeks.

Just had my 35w apt yesterday and they did the group b strep swab. I start seeing the doc weekly now too.

I'd allow nothing. My MW listen to baby. We ensure head is down and that's it. IV never allow checks till labour and even then I keep them to minimum I know when am about 10 cm. 
I just had my 36.5 week check and all we did was go over when we think he coming and when I need to call her and head to hospital. And what to do if I won't make it to hospital lol.

If they are checking your cervix it's most likely to see how thinned and dilated you are.

They check your cervix after that every week, checking if you have dilated. So after your 35/36 weeks the doctors see you every week. At least that is what my doctor told me today. So in two weeks I'll be 35,weeks and he was advising me what to expect.

BP, baby heartbeat, and doctor measured my belly. Didn't check my cervix. He won't be in next week so they ordered a non-stress test in his absence.
