Anybody had a Weird period during pregnancy?

Hello everyone! So this month my period was about 9 days late, assumed I was pregnant but my doctors test results proved other wise. So just Sunday I started lightly bleeding very dark red with brown mixed in. Then the next day it was the same color but more in quantity, about a medium flow. Then now today this morning it was very very light spotting with a color of light brown only showing when I wiped. Now this second it is completely gone. My periods are usually very heavy, painful, and lasts up to 6-7 days. This time around there was no pain whatsoever, no sore boobs, and it only lasted 3 days. Does anybody think It was just late conception and I just had late implantation? Please, any comments and or advice is welcomed. Oh and me and my hubby are TTC. I conceived back in July but sadly that ended in miscarriage late august-September.
