Should I go to the doctor???!!

I'm 40 weeks pregnant today I feel contractions every 10 to 5 minutes once in a while it's 15 minutes I had a pain once today in my hip area I guess around my pelvis it lasted 3 or 5 minutes it hurt a lot I'm having period like cramps I called my Ob she said go to the hospital im 2 cm dilated last time they checked me I'm not sure what to do its my first baby and my symptoms are still bad still throwing up i just want to meet my baby already what should I do I'm still walking around i feel ok to do stuff but it's a constant struggle
