Flu shot

I saw my OB this morning and my little lady is growing great with a nice strong heartbeat! 15 weeks today! it was so relieving to hear after 4 long weeks! He told me I need to get the flu shot and I'm nervous about it because I don't want to get sick... it will be my 1st time ever getting one and everyone I know said they got sick afterwards...I'm soooo not lookin forward to this 😩 what's you ladies experience with it? Should I be worried?
