Okay so me and my boyfriend been dating for 3 years ( I'm 17 now and he's 18). He usually tell me everything and I do the same but lately I haven't found a way to tell him I join the national guard and my drills start January. He knows I wanna join but not this early.

You cant leave for basic till your 18 sooo i dont see why its so hard to tell him. Depending on what job you're going in for you may have to wait quite some time before you even leave for basic so you have a bit before your actually in the national guard. My ex had to wait over a year just to leave for ANG bmt and had to wait 8 months till tech school. He has 3 more months to go.
