First period after stopping birth control?

Hi ladies, 
So i'm 25, been on the pill for 8 years. Partner and I have decided to ttc so I stopped my pill on 4th September after my last pill period. Since then I haven't had a normal period. Nothing, nada! How long did it take for your normal period to return after stopping birth control? I've read online that it's normal to take 1-3 months but the more time ticks by the more i'm worrying! Thanks in advance :-)

It took 40 days to get my first period after stopping bc (was on it for 9 years). Then 68 days for my second period and on my third cycle, had a chemical pregnancy/ early miscarriage (it ended up being 46 cd). Finally stopped bleeding after my longest period ever...hoping for either another positive or at least a shorter cycle! Good luck and baby dust!!

When I stopped my birth control I got my next period on cycle day 31.. After that they were consistently 31 days... Third month I ended up pregnant. I never had issues with irregularity though, even before starting the pill. Everyone is different. I was taking tri sprintec 28.
