What is UP OPKs...

I have been receiving high blinking flashy smiley faces on clearblue advanced digital for a solid week now. I felt the pinching cramp from my right side that I usually feel around ovulation but never got the solid smiley for 48 hours.

Do I presume I didn't ovulate or is it possible that the digital wand is messed up or just didn't acknowledge my peak surge. I started using them at cd 5 when my AF ended. It read low for 2 days then went high for a week. My bbt spiked yestersay on what should have been ovulation day. I'm all mixed up here.
