Gender Reveal ideas?

We get to find out the sex of the baby in two weeks and we want to do a gender reveal party! My husband and I are going to find out with everyone else. What are some good ideas to reveal the gender that a family/friend can help out with?

I won't find out until mid to late December but I already bought a huge Gold balloon with confetti to put inside depending on the gender(blue or pink) and I will just pop the ballon to revel the gender (:

Can do a paint, silly string, or water balloon fight, can do a tally chart as they all come in and then have a colored cake or something, can do a piñata full of confetti or other gender specific goodies.

We did a reveal with a balloon full of gender specific paint and a BB gun, but it was just us as we live half way across the world from our family. So that's all I can come up with for you to do as a large group. But pintrest will probably have better ideas!

My husband and I found out with everyone else also at our gender reveal party. Was the best decision ever!
We gave the envelope to a good friend throwing the party and did a smoke bomb in a box that the color came out the top. Was so much fun!
