MIL rant.

First let me start off by saying I'm a FTM and my MIL If a first time grandma.

We don't really have any problems and she's actually very nice BUT ever since having my LO I dread going over to her house to visit.

My LO is almost 2 months old.

Every time we go over they never let him sleep and he ends up over tired and fussy.

She always tries to tell me what's wrong with him and what I should do when I know it's that he's tired or hungry at the time.

I always tell her he's tired and wants to sleep but she ends up taking him from me and waking him every time and then she asks me why he's fussy.

Today he was crying (because he was tired and hungry) and she wanted to bathe him. I told her no and convinced her he was just hungry. She already had the water ready but I insisted in him eating instead.

I get she's excited for her first grandchild but it frustrates me that she always wants to tell me how to take care of him when I go over and that she doesn't let him rest.

My husband doesn't back me up and just lets her do whatever she wants and when I try to say something he just says she's excited and happy to see him and that's why she's like that.

He also says it's because she doesn't get to see him often which is true we've only gone to visit about 3 times but all 3 times have been that way.

I don't want to be mean to her cause she's nice but sometimes I just want to be like GIVE ME MY BABY or LET HIM SLEEP. Lol.

I just needed to rant. 😩😩😩😩
