When did you get the positive?

This summer I had a missed miscarrriage.  I chose to take the misoprotrol instead of the D & C and I just had my first normal cycle.  We chose to do IUI right from the get go.  My question is when did you get your positive?  For my last pregnancy I got the positive 6 days before my period, this time I'm getting negatives at that time frame.  I'm 11dpo.  I guess what i am asking is if every pregnancy positive is on a different time frame or is typically the same for the individual?  Not having anything to compare to is hard!  I'm having pregnancy/pms symptoms-sore breasts, dull cramps, no bleeding though.  Thanks!
