Today my Bf told me that hes going to join the mariens and really looking into hes always talking about it and i prented in the inside that im so happy for him and supportive but, i feel that im going to feel lonely at times.. any comments that can help me feel better? 😞

My man is in the navy. Let me tell you honey, it will not by any means be easy. It is hard and it takes a VERY strong woman and an even stronger relationship to keep it healthy and going. It's not the life for everyone and it's not wrong to feel the way you do but please support him the absolute best you can in his decision. Just remember that it will make him happy and that should be enough to make you happy honey.

My husbands in the marine corps (and I'm in the Air Force) and although we started dating after we were both in it's not easy being in a military relationship. 
He leaves on mini deployments (2 weeks- 2 months) every couple of months and leaves me all alone. He has to have 24 hour duty days on a weekly basis where I don't get to see him. He works long hours and is all around not there. 
Since I'm also in the military dealing with crazy schedules and last minute things I get it and understand it and we know how to work through it but because I'm a woman who wants to hang out with other women around her I hang out with many marine wives.
While there's that one crazy girl who sleeps with every man in sight and lies to her husband about it most of them just sit home alone all day sad because husband is always gone and working. One wife was in college and gave it all up to follow her marine to Hawaii and now that she's all alone for the next 6 months and can't get a job she's very resentful and upset that she followed him out here. The 18 year old girl who married her marine the day she turned 18 is 19 and about to be divorced now because having him away all the time and his mental illness were hard on her. Then 2 of my close friends while they miss their husbands and don't like the marine corps life they stand by him and are doing what they can to enjoy themselves out here.
This isn't for the weak of heart. But it can be very rewarding. If you love him enough and find it worth it you can make it work but if you're going to sleep around, resent him because you don't have your old life, or just don't connect with him because you didn't really know him this may not be the right life for you.
