I go to a bible study with people from my church, but I don't feel very welcome there. I'm 20 and one of the youngest people to attend next to an 18 year old and everyone seems to like her more than me. I just feel like the group sees me as a kid and I feel like they're a little rude to me sometimes. It feels so much like high school rather than a bible study group. It doesn't help that I don't have anything in common with the older women (it's a young adults group). Everyone in the group is either related, married, in a relationship, or has kids and I don't have any of those things. It's a little discouraging when you feel out of place in a place where you should feel welcomed with open arms and accepted😔 And I can't just stop going because my younger sister volunteers to watch the kids.
